• It's time to sign up for the 2027 all-church rotating potluck. Sign up is electronic this year. If you cannot sign up online, there will be a limited number of paper forms available under the bulletin boards. Those wishing to no longer participate should still complete a form indicating they are dropping out so the committee knows that this is not an oversight. • The trustees have adopted a new emergency preparedness plan which incorporates our previous storm protection plan and includes other emergencies. As part of this plan, there is a new safety team to assist in various ways. The emergency preparedness plan is posted on the secured Church Documents page of the church website. If you have any questions, please see the trustees.

• Tomorrow is clothes sorting and comforter knotting at the HarvestCall Distribution Center beginning at 9:00 am. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve our community and all help is appreciated.
• There is a pizza supper at 6:00 pm this Wednesday at church before the Scripture Memory Class begins for K-4th grade students. Please use this link to RSVP, sign up for helping in the kitchen, and help with food. Contact Bro. Reuben and Sis. Karla Kaeb with any questions.
• Next Sunday will be a regular collection for HarvestCall. This includes our collection for the local outreach projects and the HarvestCall Distribution Center. Along with checks or cash, contributions may also be made on the church online giving page.
• There will be an all-church supper and singing at 5:00 pm at the Fellowship Hall after the baptisms on November 1. If you plan to attend, please sign up on the sheets under the women’s bulletin board so the committee can get an accurate number for planning. A sign up for food will go out later. • Our Adult Bible Class for any non-members will be next Sunday at 10:00 am in the conference room at church.
• Boxes are out for the Sunday School teacher ballots today, and they will also be out next Sunday for any remaining ballots.
• We are in need of 30 volunteers, ages 12 years and older, to help package turkeys at the HarvestCall Distribution Center on Saturday, October 10 from 9:00-11:30am. If you are able to help, please sign up here or contact Bro. Tyler and Sis. Ruth Edelman.
• The Silver Lining periodically features an article selected from readers' submissions. The January 2027 topic is: “Learning Contentment: Share how your life-lessons allow God to recalibrate your expectations of life, comfort, and success (Philippians 4:11-13)” Please send questions or your contributions (600 words or less) to features@acsilverlining.org by November 16. • Lord willing, we are planning testimonies and baptisms the weekend of October 31-November 1 for Autumn Mueller, Wyatt Edelman, Layne Schaffer, and Connor Mueller.

• The Single Group is hosting an ‘Over 40’ singing at the Fellowship Hall this Saturday at 6:30 pm.
• There is an Instruments of Worship event this coming weekend in northeast Ohio. More information can be found here.
• Next Sunday is our turn for services at Fairview Haven. Please check the lists on the men's and women's bulletin boards for your turn; if you are unable to go on your Sunday, please find a replacement to help with singing and fellowship.
• Please bring a ballot next Sunday for a brother to teach in Sunday School. Brothers who have already completed a term, or whose wives are currently teachers are ineligible. The current teachers are listed in the church directory. This is a serious responsibility and all are encouraged to approach it prayerfully.
• Scripture Memory Class for K-4th grade students will begin on Wednesday, October 7. The evening will start with a pizza supper at 6:00 pm at church for all who wish to attend. • The Denver church is moving to a new location. The last service in their current building is planned for October 11. More information about the move, updates on future plans, and photos of the new location can be found on their website,.
• Sophie Dotterer has expressed repentance for sin, and a desire to renew her walk with the Lord along with potential reinstatement. We encourage the church to provide active support and encouragement through this time.

• Today is our collection for Fairview Haven.
• The Single Group is hosting a singing on Saturday, September 26 at 6:30 pm at the Fellowship Hall for all those over 40. There are sign up sheets under both bulletin boards.
• The 2026 Apologetics Conference ‘Shining Lights in a Secular Age’ is Saturday, November 14 at Bluffton North. More information can be found on the ETR website, and anyone interested can register here.

• The Women’s Outreach Committee would appreciate feedback from the ladies of Forrest church regarding the future of Women’s Outreach (WOR).
