• The Silver Lining periodically features an article selected from readers' submissions. • Lord willing, we are planning testimonies and baptisms the weekend of October 31-November 1 for Autumn Mueller, Wyatt Edelman, Layne Schaffer, and Connor Mueller.

• The Single Group is hosting an ‘Over 40’ singing at the Fellowship Hall this Saturday at 6:30 pm.
• There is an Instruments of Worship event this coming weekend in northeast Ohio. More information can be found here.
• Next Sunday is our turn for services at Fairview Haven. Please check the lists on the men's and women's bulletin boards for your turn; if you are unable to go on your Sunday, please find a replacement to help with singing and fellowship.
• Please bring a ballot next Sunday for a brother to teach in Sunday School. Brothers who have already completed a term, or whose wives are currently teachers are ineligible. The current teachers are listed in the church directory. This is a serious responsibility and all are encouraged to approach it prayerfully.
• Scripture Memory Class for K-4th grade students will begin on Wednesday, October 7. The evening will start with a pizza supper at 6:00 pm at church for all who wish to attend. • The Denver church is moving to a new location. The last service in their current building is planned for October 11. More information about the move, updates on future plans, and photos of the new location can be found on their website,.
• Sophie Dotterer has expressed repentance for sin, and a desire to renew her walk with the Lord along with potential reinstatement. We encourage the church to provide active support and encouragement through this time.

• Today is our collection for Fairview Haven.
• The Single Group is hosting a singing on Saturday, September 26 at 6:30 pm at the Fellowship Hall for all those over 40. There are sign up sheets under both bulletin boards.
• The 2026 Apologetics Conference ‘Shining Lights in a Secular Age’ is Saturday, November 14 at Bluffton North. More information can be found on the ETR website, and anyone interested can register here.

• The Women’s Outreach Committee would appreciate feedback from the ladies of Forrest church regarding the future of Women’s Outreach (WOR). Please take a couple of minutes to fill out this survey, whether you currently attend WOR evenings or not. The responses will remain anonymous, and they would appreciate honest feedback. • The reading of the Fall Memorandum is planned for Saturday, November 14. If anyone is willing to host a dinner for the Forrest and Fairbury ministers and wives before Memorandum, please contact Sis. Lynn Dotterer.

• The all-church BBQ is tomorrow evening at Forrest Park at 4:30 pm.
• We will watch the last two Conference main session speakers this Wednesday evening in the Sunday School assembly room. Nothing will be streamed or archived on AC Central that evening.
• Next Sunday, it is Forrest’s turn for services in Kiowa, KS. Bro. Arlen is planning to go.
